Tailgating Contest:

Ready to strut your stuff at the races and show off your skills?  Enter the Tailgate contest and show US how it's done.  Our tailgate contest was started to showcase one thing, our guests!  From a theme to an amzing food display, each and every tailgate is unique.  Enter the contest and join the fun.

Tailgating Tips

• Have a theme and decorate your tailgate accordingly.
• Bring out your inner bartender; a signature drink will get you noticed. Come up with something unique that ties in with your theme.
• Making your own food really makes a tailgate special. Judges will recognize the spinach dip from Costco!
• Don’t bring food that needs to be kept hot, will melt, or spoils easily. Pack ice and lots of cold drinks and leave the mayonnaise at home. Grills, beach umbrellas and personal tents are not allowed in tailgating spaces. For public safety no glass beer bottles, or glass cups allowed.
• Join the tailgate competition!

Hat Contest: 

One of the most anticipated events of each race day, the hat contest, bring a large group of women, men & children together of all ages to compete for the right to brag about their creations for the next year.  Hat entries come in all size, shapes, colors, styles and textures.  Let your creative side shine when deciding what will work best for your entry.

Catergories for judging include:
~ Most Glamourous/Elegant
~ Best Racing Theme
~ Funnies/Most Outrageous
~ Best Child's Hat
~ Best Men's Hat

The contest is held at the Winners Circle down in front of the Steward Stand at 2pm.  Don't delay getting there or you'll miss all the excitement.
